1. Official Degree Certificate. When the original diploma issued by the institution is neither in Chinese nor English, an English or Chinese translation verified copy is required.
 
2. Full original official transcript of records. When the original transcript issued by the institution is neither in Chinese nor English, an English or Chinese verified copy is required.
 
* Undergraduate program applicants: Both Junior and Senior High school (or above) graduate certificate/ transcript; Master’s program applicants: Bachelor’s degree (or above) graduation certificate/ transcript; PhD program applicants: Master’s degree (or above)  graduate certificate/ transcript
 
*Applicants graduating in the current year should submit a certificate issued by the school/university for the forth-coming graduation. And applicants have to agree with the content of the Document Declaration online However, they shall, upon admission, submit their academic credentials on the registration day for enrollment. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the admission offer.
 
*If the duration of study is not stated in the official transcript, please hand in either every transcript in every semester or the proof of applicant’s duration of study from a secondary school or a college/university. Each document should be verified (with official stamp) by R.O.C. (Taiwan) Overseas Embassies & Missions in the country of their original school. When the original transcript issued by the institution is neither in Chinese nor English, an English or Chinese translation verified copy is required.
 
*Once admitted, all official academic documents and their translations should be notarized by the R.O.C. (Taiwan) Embassy or R.O.C. (Taiwan) Representative Office in or near the country where the documents are issued.
 
3. Verification of nationality: Passport (if applicable). If the applicant does not have the passport, the national ID or related identity certificate should be submitted.
 
4. Taiwan Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) (if applicable)
 
5. Autobiography
 
6. Study Plan 
 
7. Reasearch Proposal
 
8.Two letters of Recommendation
 
9. TOEFL or IELTS or Other Evidence of English Proficiency (No Minimum)
 
10. Evidence of Chinese Proficiency (Optional from different department)
 
11. Related Academic Publications (Optional from different department)
 
12. Other additional documents requested by the department/institute you intend to apply.
