English-lectured programs available in Academic Year 2017-2018

1. International Master Program for Environment Sustainable Development (IESD)

This program aims to nurture expertise in sustainable development among the next generation of professionals working in technology and management as well as to promote the international cooperation. The program is divided into three areas: Energy Technology and Policy, Environmental Technology and Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing.

A minimum of 32 credits is required for graduation. Students will receive a ‘Master of Science’ degree from the International Master’s Program in Environment Sustainable Development, College of Engineering, after completing their studies.

2. International Master Degree Program in Applied Materials Science (IAMS)

This program aims to nurture expertise in research and development in materials technology. The faculties of this program are from departments from College of Science and College of Engineering, including physics, chemistry, mechanics, and chemical engineering. Besides the interdisciplinary researches, students could choose your thesis advisor from College of Science and College of Engineering, and will receive a “Master of Science” degree.

3. University System of Taiwan International Graduate Program for Photonics

Facing the future competitive environment with globalization, our country has imperious demands to build up an international environment which can develop scientists and technicians with globalization. The establishment of University System of Taiwan (UST) International Ph.D. Program in Photonics (IPPP) will help with the work of setting up the international environment in Taiwan to develop Photonics scientists and technicians with globalization.
